Project Sunflower became my mission on a sleepless night 3 days after my diagnosis of Breast Cancer. My thoughts flooded with appointments, treatments, sickness, insurance coverage, where to go , what to do, who to trust, and how to pay for it all.
Later on, after meeting many professionals at Sanoviv dedicated to natural healing, and then also meeting Dr. Robert Roundtree , Adjunct Faculty Member of the Institute For Functional Medicine, my eyes were opened further to the vast knowledge and application of the benefits of total mind-body treatment of individuals.
I am determined to do all I can to help others face this situation a little easier by providing resources: financial, educational, nutritional, and most of all, the hope of healing available to all by the Lord.

Project Sunflower is in the budding stages. It will be a 501©(3) non-profit organization dedicated to:
Empower cancer patients with knowledge of Alternative and Functional Medicine methods of treatment.
- Provide financial assistance for treatment at Centers that emphasize & focus on immune system support, nutrition, and education, such as Sanoviv Medical Institute; and possibly supporting research in nutritional medicine.
- Guide cancer patients in life long nutritional stewardship of the body and the hope in the healing power of prayer.
Psalm 118:17 I will not die but live, and will proclaim what the Lord has done.
