Message Board > Lonely road?
Sue, this is you.
"Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocre minds. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence and fulfills the duty to express the results of his thoughts in clear form."
Albert Einstein
Subsititute, "her". I can't wait to see what the next 30 years will be with you. I am so proud of you.

The following is part of an email I received recently from a stage 4 breast cancer survivor. "Nurse For Health" is on a mission to help more people just like this...
"Thanks for the info you sent yesterday. It helped me find the path that I feel will work for me. I CAN do it. I may ask for support once and a while. That is what we are supposed to do! Life would be too lonely if we didn't have each other.
Blessings to you, Sue,

PS - I'd like to see what Sanoviv supplements are available.

Do you find that the road to recovery is often a lonely one? Not with regards to the presence of others, although it did surprise me just who I heard from, but what spoke LOUDER was those I did not hear from. I actually learned something from that: what not to do when a friend or relative gets cancer! And, with all the differing opinions about treatment, you are either supported, or you are not, but either way it seems like you are left overwhelmed and ready to start sipping that glass of red wine. The important thing is that I have been blessed with an awesome husband & children who know what to say, and when to say it. You can't underestimate that "food for the soul." It makes the "what if" leftovers less daunting. It really does feel better to just say it!
What are YOU dealing with?
