A Nutribullet Day

I'm often asked what I blend up in my Nutribullet so I started taking pictures so all of my friends on facebook could see exactly what I did. Then I thought it would be a good idea to share some of my pics here too.

This is one way to get your greens for those of you who don't like veggies much. The sweeter fruits and berries cover the "green" taste quite nicely!

The raw fruits and veggies have enzyme power. Enzymes run everything in your body and as we age, our production of them decreases. Therefore we need to get more from the food we eat. Some people who have trouble digesting raw foods need the enzyme cellulase. I use enzymes for all of my cooked food. The kind I use are from The Loomis Institute of Enzyme Nutrition, which I also use in my practice.

In this smoothie I used:

a banana, frozen strawberries, spinach, hemp seeds, vanilla protein powder, spirulina, maca powder, a little raw milk, and water.

These smoothies keep you filled throughout the entire morning and sometimes longer. It is quick to make and the bullet is quick to clean. You can find these for less than $99.00 at some stores, so it is definitely worth it. Go for it!
